Chevrolet Nova
1962 Nova Convertible
I've got a 1962 Nova Convertible for sale. It does need a full restoration. I have purchased many new parts for the car which was purchased through Classic Industries.
New parts that I have for it are:
Complete front suspension rebuild kit
Black Convertible top
Convertible well liner
Convertible top pads
Complete lock set (ignition, glove box, doors, and trunk)
Door handle set
V-8 throttle arm
Bumper bolt kit
Bumper mounting set
V-8 motor mounts
TH350 Trans Crossmember
Red carpet set
Rear quarter center patch panel (both sides)
Lower rear quarter patch panel (both sides)
All 4 wheel cylinders
Included is an extra drivers door that has door glass and a wing window assembly. There is a passenger door window (glass). For the rear side glass, one side (don't recall which) is a complete assembly, the other is the assembly without glass.
Body Needs: It does still need floor pans from infront of the rear seats forward and a drivers side rocker. It does need some framerail work on the passenger side at the rocker panel. I do have a full floorpan that was cut from a different car that will go with this.
Interior: The nova comes with front seats that need covers and possibly pads. There is no rear seat.
The car has 5 lug wheels. 3 of the wheels are matching in "new" shape and 1 chrome wheel.
My plan for the car was to change it to a red car with red interior and a black top, but I just don't have the time to work on it. I do have the title in my name. If there is any questions or if you need more pictures feel free to ask.
Info from the cowl tag are: STYLE is 12C, Then Style 62-0467 Body WR 2646, Trim 753, Paint 918-3, Acc HJL-1. This is what someone sent me when decoding the tag: 12C is 12th month, C is 4th wk, 62-model yr(this car was actually built in Dec 61),04-ChevyII Nova400-L6eng, 67- 2dr Conv, WR- Willow Run,Mi(assembly plant),TRIM-753-Auqua Vinyl bench(interior trim), PAINT>918-Twilight Blue.-3=cream conv top. I have no ACC list for 62 but have been told all early yrs the H stands for heater delete.(this car does have a heater. Maybe H doesn't stand for heater delete or it is a dealer installed heater???)
This is a great time to pick up this car, Classic Industries is having a 20% off sale durring the month of September so save on any additional parts.
